Bill and Sandi Kenney are a winning team, both in the office and
in the home.
Bill Kenney and Bill Spellerberg head up Willliamsburg Properties,
the hottest real estate development company in Lee's Summit. Bill
also runs Kenney & Associates Real Estate and is a broker officer.
Sandi, as director of marketing, adds valuable experience in public
relations, sales and design of common areas.
The Kenneys met in the 1970s when both attended the University of
Northern Colorado. Bill, a California native, played quarterback
on the football team while earning a degree in business management
administration. Sandi, originally from Colorado, studied nursing.
Sandi was a flight attendant for United Airlines until Bill started
a professional football career that would lead him to Kansas City.
After being released by two teams, Bill signed with the Chiefs and
was the starting quarterback for eight of his 10 years with the
team. He was the Chiefs' most valuable player in 1984, passing for
4,348 yards-- still the fourth-highest total in league history.
Bill was elected to the Missouri Senate in his first campaign for
political office in 1994. He has promoted a strong pro-family agenda,
earning recognition from the Missouri Health Care Association, the
Missouri Chamber of Commerce and the University of Missouri-Kansas
City High School Science, Mathematics and Technology Institute.
Bill is involved as a member and speaker in a number of organizations,
including D.A.R.E., the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Athletes
in Action. He has been a fundraiser for Food for Families and is
active in the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce and the Missouri
Association of Realtors.
Sandi has been active in the community throughout Bill's careers
in sports and politics. She home-schooled their four children for
13 years until becoming involved in real estate. Sandi continues
to serve as board president of Mother's Refuge, a shelter for homeless,
pregnant teens. As residents of Lee's Summit for two decades, Bill
and Sandi are committed to continued growth while maintaining the
city's outstanding quality of life.
Williamsburg Properties currently is developing Monarch View and
Summit Ridge in the fast-growing southwest part of the city. The
Kenneys have two grown children, Kristin and Billy, and two at home,
Carlton and Liz. They attend Lee's Summit Community Church.

Her husband Raymond Summers of T&R Homes Inc. has been a builder for over 20 years, he enjoys it so much Lisa decided to become a real estate agent. Lisa has lived in Lee's Summit for over 15 years and is a lifelong Missouri resident. She belongs to the New Salem Baptist Church. She volunteers at Mothers Refuge, Taste Of compassion and is a Lee's Summit west High School Booster Club Member.
